comunicat de presa: MTV a anunțat nominalizările pentru ediția din 2021 a celebrei gale Video Music Awards. Anul acesta, printre nominalizați se numără artiști al căror impact cultural și activitate din ultimul an au transformat industria muzicală și au dat naștere unor conversații globale. Justin Bieber (7 nominalizări) conduce lista de nominalizați din acest an, urmat îndeaproape de Megan Thee Stallion (6 nominalizări) alături de Billie Eilish, BTS, https://pixabay.com/photos/soft-cake-banana-bread-lilacs-cake-5195326/ Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X și Olivia Rodrigo (câte 5 nominalizări fiecare), nominalizată pentru prima dată la VMAs. Nominalizările pentru categoria “Video of the Year” pot fi urmărite aici.

Show-ul VMA revine la New York și va fi transmis LIVE din Barclays Center duminică, 12 septembrie, în peste 180 de țări, ajungând în peste 400 de milioane de case. Emisiunea va fi difuzată simultan pe CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, VH1 și The CW Network, punând emisiunea la dispoziția unui public extins pentru al doilea an consecutiv.

Fanii își pot vota artiștii favoriți din 14 categorii, printre care “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year,” “Best Collaboration” și multe altele online, pe vma.mtv.com până vineri, 3 septembrie, 2021. Voturile pentru categoria “Best New Artist”, prezentat de Facebook, vor putea fi înregistrate până duminică, 12 septembrie 2021. Nominalizările pentru categoriile “Best Group” și “Song of Summer”vor fi anunțate ulterior.
